71-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies After Pothole Crash on Western Highway Near Trawalla, Victoria
A 71-year-old motorcyclist from Ballarat died after losing control of his motorcycle on the Western Highway near Trawalla Road, west of Ballarat, Victoria, following a crash into a pothole. Emergency services responded shortly before 1pm on September 14, 2026, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The Coalition has called for urgent action to address potholes on deteriorating roads.
