Houthis Launch Strikes on Saudi Arabia and Yemen, Allies Unite Behind Riyadh

The Houthis, a Shia militant group based in Yemen, launched multiple strikes targeting Saudi infrastructure and military installations. These attacks included ballistic missiles and drone strikes, which damaged oil facilities and disrupted oil exports from Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest energy exporter. The strikes were part of a broader conflict that has drawn international attention and military involvement. Allies, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and others, publicly endorsed Saudi Arabia’s position and military actions. The United States, while not directly involved in combat, provided intelligence and logistical support to Saudi Arabia. The situation has intensified diplomatic and military pressures in the region, with calls for a unified response to the Houthis’ actions. Sources consistently report the Houthis’ attacks and the international backing for Saudi Arabia. There are no significant divergences in the reported facts across the outlets, though the specific details of the attacks and the extent of international support remain consistent in their descriptions.
