UN mission accuses US of war crimes in Iran, cites crimes against humanity by Tehran

The UN mission, which investigated alleged violations of international law, found evidence that US forces engaged in actions that constitute war crimes, including unlawful targeting of civilians and the use of prohibited weapons. The report specifically cited incidents in which US military operations resulted in civilian casualties and the destruction of infrastructure in Iranian territory. Tehran, in response, accused the US of conducting covert operations that targeted Iranian officials and infrastructure, which it claims constitute crimes against humanity.
