Iran Claims Strike on U.S. Ship in Strait of Hormuz; U.S. Denies It
Iran announced it had struck a U.S. naval vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, while the United States denied any such attack. The incident heightened regional tensions and raised concerns about the security of international shipping routes.
Iran claimed it launched an attack on a U.S. ship in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil transit. The U.S. military stated it had no evidence of such an attack and dismissed the claim as false. The U.S. denied any strike occurred, asserting its forces were not targeted.
