(Adnkronos) - At least 12 people were killed and 18 injured in Kyiv and surrounding areas due to a ballistic missile attack by Russia. This is part of a drone strike on the capital that has been ongoing for six days. According to authorities, at least 8 people were killed and 5 injured in the capital, while 4 were killed and 13 injured in Kyiv region. According to a post by Oleksandr Peretzovsky, chairman of Ukrainian Railways, six of the victims were employees of Ukrainian Railways, who died as a result of the ballistic missile hitting vehicle bases and other railway infrastructure.

Six of the deceased were employees of Ukrainian Railways, who were killed as a result of a ballistic rocket hitting a depot and other railway infrastructure, said Alexander Pervotsky, chairman of the board of Ukrainian Railways, in a social media post.
