Zelensky Demonstrates First Combat Use of Ukraine's FP-7 Tactical Ballistic Missile

Zelensky confirmed the use of the FP-7 missile during a military operation in eastern Ukraine, a region heavily contested by Russian forces. The missile, developed by Ukraine's state-owned defense company, is designed for short-range strikes and has been a key component of Ukraine's modernization efforts. The demonstration comes amid ongoing Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and military positions. The FP-7 missile's deployment is part of Ukraine's broader strategy to counter Russian advances and protect critical infrastructure. Analysts note that the use of such advanced weaponry could shift the balance of power in the region, though the immediate impact on the battlefield remains unclear. The event has drawn international attention, with some NATO allies expressing concern over the potential for escalation.
