Zelensky Thanks Merz for Sanctions on Russia Over Airport Drone Plot

Zelensky expressed gratitude to Merz for the sanctions, which were imposed in response to a drone plot targeting an airport. The sanctions were part of a broader effort to hold Russia accountable for its actions. Moscow responded by summoning the German chargé d'affaires, signaling a sharp reaction to the measures. The incident highlights the ongoing diplomatic friction between Germany and Russia, with both sides using the drone plot as a pretext for political maneuvering.
